The Middletown Unified School District is preparing to develop our Local Control Accountability Plan for 2014-2015.

In June of 2013 a new era of school finance in California was signed into law by Governor Jerry Brown. The new funding model is known as the Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF). It reshapes school funding, with the promise of additional funding (trying to recapture the level of 2007-08), and squarely aimed to improve achievement for all students.

The new state funding formula for public education requires each district to develop a Local Accountability and Control Plan (LCAP) in consultation with the community. We invite you to engage in the process of developing the first LCAP plan.

One of the ways we are gathering information is through this survey.  Please take a few minutes to complete the survey.  Please complete the survey by March 31, 2014.
