Superintendent Weekly Communication:
Happy First Friday,
I hope everyone is having a fantastic day three of the 23/24 school year.
I will be sending out updates following all of our Board meetings in an effort to increase communication from the district.
We have over 100 more kids in our school right now than we did at the close of school last year. Some of them are due to the increase in TK students and some of them are just awesome kids and families that wanted to live in our town and go to our schools. We will have a board workshop on Thursday, August 17th at 6:00 PM in the MHS multi-use room to discuss facilities options. Staff members, families and community are allowed to comment at board workshops at the discretion of the Board President. So, if you have ideas for solutions to facilities issues I encourage you to come to the workshop.
We will have a new link on our website for Bond updates so that people can see what progress we are making on facilities. Last fall we had three new classrooms built on the High School Campus. This summer we had a new fire alarm system installed at Coyote Valley and we are currently finishing up bathroom renovations at Coyote Valley just to mention a few things that have been happening with Bond dollars.
